"Toldos Yeshurun"- is a non-profit public
organization
uniting Russian-speaking religious Jewry.
Our main objective is to establish a Russian-speaking religious community in Israel through creation of an Educational Torah Network, and reconnecting "Russian" Jews to their roots with the help of young rabbis. The organization was established in 2000 under the leadership of Rav Yitzchok Zilber - the greatest Russian-speaking Rabbi, the leader of the Russian Tshuva movement. After Rav Yitzchok passed away in 2004, the organization was headed by his son, Rav Ben Tzion Zilber. The organization unites the efforts of more than 350 rabbis and Torah teachers. The majority of them are young, energetic, ambitious Russian-speaking bnei Torah, who have been studying in the best Israeli and American yeshivos. Toldot Yeshurun organizes many classes, lectures, chavrusas, night kollelim, and communities in various parts of Eretz Yisroel. It also runs a Yeshiva and Collel for Halachic Studies. The organization operates with the support of Gedolei Yisroel - the greatest Rabbis of our generation in Israel and the United States.
